Stornaway.io to… YouTube?! What is this witchcraft? It’s not witchcraft, but it is magical. We’ve made the world’s first game engine for YouTube. It’s an incredible integration that lets you craft your interactive video experiences in Stornaway.io’s editing platform as usual – then simply send them to YouTube and automagically link them up. Your Stornaway.io experience is then interactively playable on YouTube.com! Want to see it for yourself? Play our film Life Moves Pretty Fast on YouTube. |
New! P(a)inocchio for Staatstheater Kassel, Germany |
Huge congratulations to the creative team at Staatstheater Kassel, including director Lily Sykes and writer Thomaspeter Georgen who have just released their extraordinary 2 hour original interactive show P(a)inocchio created and produced using Stornaway’s editing platform and player. It’s a bizarre journey into the dark and strange world of Pinocchio, Chucky, the crazy log lady and more… in German. Decide for yourself what will happen to Pinocchio and experience a whole new kind of theatre adventure. You can watch it from the beginning here (in German) – or if you click on the image below, you can go straight to a playable map of the story and dive straight in, follow a character or a destination. |

In this exclusive session, director Paul Raschid, (The Complex and Five Dates) and Stornaway.io’s Ru Howe will reveal the secrets of how ‘The Gallery’ is being produced as a full length interactive feature without extra costs or difficulties. They will show the process of taking a complex story game from a 300+ scene interactive script to a 6 week covid-friendly shoot and through a real time interactive postproduction process using Stornaway.io, letting Paul focus on the storytelling and putting all the budget on screen, not into the tech.
